Received 'Best Private Layout' award at the 1984, 1985 and 1988 AMRA(VIC) exhibitions held at Camberwell

The layout was based on the American Clinchfield Railroad, situated in the Appalachian Mountains, right in the heart of Hillbilly & Moonshine country. The lifeblood of the railroad being coal. Running on the model layout was loaded and empty coal trains, plus local roadside freight trains.
